Regional Song and Dance Group “Boczki Chełmońskie” – Polish folklore

The Regional Song and Dance Group “Boczki Chełmońskie” is a folk group with a long-standing tradition.

The group was established in 1974 at the Volunteer Fire Department in Boczki Chełmońskie. It emerged from a group of young people preparing a harvest festival for the municipality. For several years, it operated under the patronage of various local and regional institutions.

Today, the ensemble consists of a 40-member group of young dancers and singers from the Łowicz County area. The group performs in original Łowicz
and sub-Łowicz (Kocierzew) folk costumes. The costumes are made exclusively by folk artists from the Kocierzew Południowy commune,
who ensure their uniqueness.

The Regional Song and Dance Ensemble “Boczki Chełmońskie” has both artistic programs and traditional folk rituals in its repertoire.
